Südkabel has positioned itself as a technical pioneer in the medium voltage sector and is continuously expanding this position. This also includes the extremely versatile product spectrum: From simple basic products to highly specialized tailor-made products for voltage ranges up to 36 kV.Accounting for around 30 percent of cable lengths laid, medium voltage cables are second most frequently installed power cables after low-voltage cables.

As a standard product, we manufacture single-core XLPE-insulated power cables from 150 to 1000 mm² conductor cross-section for voltages from 6/10 kV to 30 kV with aluminum or copper conductors. All other commercially available cable types can also be produced. We also offer our cables with fire classes Eca, Dca, Cca and B2ca according to BauPVO.
