XLPE High-Performance Cable with Optimized Conductor Properties

In high- and extra-high voltage grids, cables must meet the most stringent current-carrying capacity requirements. To enhance transmission performance, conductor designs with cross-sections of up to 3,200 mm² have been developed. A substantial boost in the current-carrying capacity of XLPE-insulated power cables can be achieved through conductor segmentation and additional construction measures for large cross-sections. These innovations enable an increase in permissible transmission capacity by up to 15%.

Delivered on specialized drums, they come equipped with pre-assembled, flexible outdoor terminations for quick and efficient deployment.
