Your tasks

• Preparation of high-voltage cables for alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) tests.
• Preparation and execution of sample tests on high-voltage cables according to applicable specifications.
• Construction and participation in the installation of test setups for cable systems and accessories.
• Execution of high-voltage tests after intensive training and qualification.
• Support in fault analysis and documentation of test results.
• Operation and monitoring of test and measurement systems in compliance with safety regulations.
• Careful documentation of test results and logging of tests performed.
• Close cooperation with related departments, in particular development and quality assurance.
• Participation in the maintenance and care of test equipment and systems.

Qualifications

• Completed, generally 3½-year vocational training in an electrotechnical or mechanical profession (e.g. electronics technician, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic).
• Technical understanding in dealing with high-voltage components and electrical test procedures.
• Initial experience in a test laboratory or in quality testing is an advantage, but not essential.
• Willingness to work in 3-shift operation.
• Careful and responsible way of working, especially when dealing with high voltage.
• Good written and spoken German.
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility and quick comprehension .
