Employee in the test laboratory (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Preparation of high-voltage cables for alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) tests.
- Preparation and execution of sample tests on high-voltage cables according to applicable specifications.
- Construction and participation in the installation of test setups for cable systems and accessories.
- Execution of high-voltage tests after intensive training and qualification.
- Support in fault analysis and documentation of test results.
- Operation and monitoring of test and measurement systems in compliance with safety regulations.
- Careful documentation of test results and logging of tests performed.
- Close cooperation with related departments, in particular development and quality assurance.
- Participation in the maintenance and care of test equipment and systems.

Qualifications
- Completed, generally 3½-year vocational training in an electrotechnical or mechanical profession (e.g. electronics technician, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic).
- Technical understanding in dealing with high-voltage components and electrical test procedures.
- Initial experience in a test laboratory or in quality testing is an advantage, but not essential.
- Willingness to work in 3-shift operation.
- Careful and responsible way of working, especially when dealing with high voltage.
- Good written and spoken German.
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility and quick comprehension .
