Your tasks

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB / IFRS- knowledge is desirable.
• Preparation of annual financial statement documents for the auditors.
• Support in the preparation of the Group reporting package.
• Processing of ongoing financial accounting: Posting and reconciliation of credit/debit vouchers, bank and cash vouchers and, if necessary, clarification of differences.
• Master data maintenance in the accounting systems (SAP/Portolan).
• Checking postings for completeness and accuracy as part of the regular financial statements and reporting, correcting incorrect postings and pointing out weaknesses and remedying them.
• Assisting in the optimization of accounting processes.
• Internal Control and Audit: Ensuring compliance and adherence to guidelines as well as active support during audits.
• Knowledge of VAT law.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of professional experience.
• Experience in an international group environment and in working with auditors and tax consultants.
• Experience in a management position (e.g. team leader) is an advantage.
• Availability of at least 40 hours per week.
• Completed commercial training.
• Additional further training as an accountant.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Flexibility and commitment, as well as the ability to work in a team and independently.
• Reliable and systematic way of working.
